MPs say making homes energy efficient is ‘crucial’ to meet targets for net-zero 

MPs expressed concerns last week that councils are without crucial funding to improve housing to meet targets for net-zero by 2050.

“To reach net zero, it’s crucial that insulation is improved in existing homes and that householders are offered viable choices and incentives to replace their gas boilers and decarbonise their heating.” Said Labour MP, Clive Betts, Chair of the Housing Select Committee
