The importance of tackling home energy efficiency in the climate emergency

In this webinar, we give an introduction to what retrofit is, why it’s important within the context of our aging UK housing stock, as well as examples of common energy efficiency issues, and retrofit measures which could address them.

Douglas Drewniak is a building performance engineer and practical expert on the energy performance of buildings, having spent much of his career on construction sites in Germany and the UK. Doug is supporting Cosy Homes Oxfordshire as a contractor, offering thermal imaging and air tightness testing to homeowners who would like it as part of their home assessment. He was also heavily involved with developing Bioregional’s Building Energy Performance Improvement Toolkit for housebuilders.
