An introduction to Cosy Homes Oxfordshire – plus information on the upcoming Green Homes Grant

This autumn Cosy Homes Oxfordshire is holding a series of fortnightly online webinars exploring topics relating to home retrofit and energy efficiency. In this second webinar of the series we covered an Introduction to Cosy Homes Oxfordshire, as well as information on the upcoming Green Homes Grant.

In this webinar Geordie Stewart (Scheme Manager for Cosy Homes Oxfordshire) and Cathy Ryan (Community Engagement Manager at the Low Carbon Hub) gave an introduction to Cosy Homes Oxfordshire, including:

• The background of why Cosy Homes Oxfordshire was set up and who the project partners are
• How the service works, who it’s for, and what makes it different
• Examples of existing home retrofit projects in Oxfordshire so far
• How to get started with retrofitting your own home.

They also covered an introduction to the Green Homes Grant opening in the UK at the end of September, and how best to maximise the value of the Grant for cost and carbon savings.
