The Royal Institute of British Architects today released a new report titled ‘Greener Homes – decarbonising the housing stock‘.

The report recommends the need for a national strategy on retrofit, including tax incentives for homeowners who make energy efficiency improvements to their home.

They also note that addressing energy efficiency in our homes is increasingly important due to the increase in working from home caused by the coronavirus pandemic. They expect this to cause a large increase of carbon emissions from our homes.
