Researchers at Nottingham University have released the results from their recent research into the best approaches to improving the energy efficiency of older homes.

Professor Mark Gillott and his team constructed a replica 1930s semi-detached house on campus in order to run the tests. Their findings include the importance of letting light in, smart appliances, insulation, and more.
