Today the New Economics Foundation released a new report, outlining their recommendations for a nationwide home retrofit programme to tackle the climate crisis.

The report describes a four year programme to retrofit 8.7 million UK homes, which would need investment of over £100 billion, but would create a new ‘retrofitting taskforce’ of over 500,000 jobs. Plus, more energy efficient homes would save homeowners an average of £400 on their annual energy bills.
