100 social housing properties in the north east of Scotland will be upgraded to improve energy efficiency, using a fabric first approach to retrofit.

This will be at no cost to tenants or landlords, due to £2.2 million of funding from the government through the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund Demonstrator. The project is being run by SMS plc, IRT Surveys, and Aberdeen City Council.
