Retrofitting homes could bring huge health benefits, finds new study

A study by the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine published in The Lancet Planetary Health suggests that net zero policies would reduce mortality by 2050, resulting in 2 million people in England and Wales living additional years. Retrofitting homes, with ventilation measures, would account for 836,000 of these lived years.
