Why planning matters
Improving your home’s energy efficiency isn’t just about adding insulation or upgrading your heating – it’s about making the right choices, in the right order, for the best results.
A whole house assessment isn’t just an energy-saving checklist – it’s a personalised roadmap for home improvement, designed to help you:
- See the bigger picture – Rather than tackling upgrades one by one, your plan ensures everything works together – for maximum comfort, performance, and long-term savings.
- Get expert, tailored advice – No more guesswork. Your plan is shaped around your home, your budget, and your long-term goals.
- Make confident decisions – Know what to prioritise, avoid costly missteps, and invest in changes that truly make a difference.
“Our Whole House Plan gave us a clear path to making our home more efficient. We feel more confident in our choices and have already started improvements!”
How much does it cost?
Invest in your home’s future with a Whole House Plan – starting from just £187 for a 1–2 bedroom property.

About CAPZero
The Community Action Plan for Zero-Carbon Energy (CAPZero) is the first of its kind in the UK. Its mission is to create a zero-carbon energy system in the Eynsham (Cuckoo Lane) Primary Substation Area before 2050 through long-term stewardship, benefiting both current and future residents while providing a model for wider action.
CAPZero is a project of Low Carbon Hub. Working in collaboration with Cosy Homes Oxfordshire, the project is supporting homeowners in the CAPZero area by offering match-funded Whole House Plans.
CAPZero models how a cluster of communities in West Oxfordshire can create a zero-carbon energy system in their local area, in a way that works for them. It is a plan developed by community representatives together with experts, and it has now entered an exciting implementation phase. Everyone is needed: residents and businesses can lead the way, by taking action now.
