Join our team to lead the way in transforming Oxfordshire’s homes

With growing knowledge of the importance of home retrofit in the climate crisis, there is growing demand in Oxfordshire – and we need building professionals to help us deliver retrofit projects.

Cosy Homes Oxfordshire is a one-stop home retrofit service connecting homeowners with skilled building professionals like you to deliver high quality retrofit work, under one seamless programme. We focus on whole house retrofit, and as part of that we deliver a variety of energy efficiency measures from installing loft insulation to heating system upgrades and installing renewable energy systems. Could you deliver measures like these? If so, we’d love you to join us and help us transform Oxfordshire’s homes.

We work with building professionals to deliver energy-efficient solutions for homeowners in two ways: as Retrofit Coordinators and as General Contractors.

Interested in becoming PAS2030 or TrustMark accredited to enable you to support homeowners with retrofit work through the Green Homes Grant? We can support you with that – contact us on membership@retrofitworks.co.uk to find out how.

Become a General Contractor

General Contractors deliver retrofit measures on site,  overseen by the Retrofit Coordinator. Depending on the type of house and retrofit measures, we may have multiple types of Contractors working on one home.

General contractors include small builders, refurbishment companies, insulation installers, carpenters, heating & plumbing technicians, HVAC installers, Heat pump installers, electricians, roofing installers, handymen and damp proofing specialists.

Become a Retrofit Coordinator

Retrofit Coordinators project manage home retrofits, managing the customer journey from start to finish. They are also responsible for creating our Whole House Plans.

Retrofit Coordinators can have experience in any building profession, they just need an interest in retrofit and low carbon construction, experience with project management and customer service, and a willingness to learn, as they need to undertake a short training course to get started.
