50 neighbours visit Oxford resident to find out about insulation
Over 50 neighbours visited an Oxford resident to learn more about external wall insulation (EWI).
The resident opened his home during Oxford Open Doors week and invited people to come to see and find out about the insulation in his house.
Tweet:
Who knew external wall insulation was so popular (certainly not the UK govt currently)? We had over 50 people visit our home to learn about how EWI this weekend as part of Oxford Open Doors.
Key benefits; gas use down 45%, eliminated damp, home feels cosier and it looks good pic.twitter.com/XMDqRzNXMl— jamie clarke (@JamieWClarke) September 11, 2022
Oxford Open Doors 2022 is a weekend that celebrated Oxford’s heritage and culture by giving everyone the chance to get behind Oxford’s closed doors. Oxford Preservation Trust and the University of Oxford organise the annual Oxford Open Doors event every September.
